A New Standard in Goat Breeding

About Us
Passionate Goat Breeders
Hi. I’m glad you’re here. Welcome to beautiful Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
We own a small herd of ADGA registered, lineage proven, high-quality pedigree, clean tested, spoiled rotten Nigerian dwarf does.
We focus on increasing the odds of offspring having superior qualities by LAI-ing our does. Our girls already possess great genetics, but let’s face it, no one’s perfect. Our girls will be linear appraised, milk tested, and shown as we go along. This will give us insight into their attributes and where they might have “room for improvement.” A great deal of time will be invested in paring them up with the best possible buck out there with the help of the ADGA genetics website. LAI-ing will allow us the freedom to create a match made in heaven! Genetically, that is. We will openly discuss any of our goats’ shortcomings with you. We will not hide or sugarcoat descriptions of our animals just to sell them. Again, we’re starting off with good stock and will work on correcting every little fault they may possess with future kiddings. Our hope is that the offspring produced will positively impact the breed.
We sell our goats to fellow goat enthusiasts at very reasonable prices (given their genetics) who intend on showing, milk testing, linear appraising and loving them. We’re not out to make a fortune. If what we get for our animals helps with the food and vet bills, we’re happy. Our real reward is the joy the kids bring every spring to our family. We love what we do!

At Goat Amore, we are committed to providing the best care for our goats. We take pride in maintaining a healthy and sustainable environment for our goats.
By us taking care of our herd, they inadvertently take care of us. Physically, without them, we'd spend entirely too much time on our comfy couch every morning with our coffee cup. They get us up and moving. They help us get in our workouts by lifting, throwing, dragging, and stacking their heavy bales of hay, 50-lb bags of feed, bales of straw, bags of PDZ, and bags of pine shavings. Financially, without them, we'd have to pay for a gym membership for this kind of workout! Of course, to pay for all the before mentioned, a gym membership would be much cheaper, but what's the fun in that! Last, but not least, Emotionally. How can you not smile watching bouncing babies!
